Delete Asset

This function helps delete assets. Deleting an asset deletes all its software and hardware information, change history, software deploy tasks, USB monitoring information, printer monitoring information, and asset file check information.

Operation Procedure

• Approach 1:
1. Select the User tab, and in the navigation tree of Desktop Asset Manager, click All Assets to enter the Asset List page.
2. The Delete button provides three options: Delete Selected, Query and Delete, and Delete Using a File, which allows you to delete assets using the following methods:
Method 1: Select target assets, click Delete Selected, and confirm the deletion.
Method 2: Enter the query criteria, click Query and Delete, and confirm the deletion.
Method 3: Click Delete Using a File to import a file, specify the column in the file corresponding to asset number, and confirm the deletion.
• Approach 2:
1. Select the User tab, and in the navigation tree of Desktop Asset Manager, click All Assets to enter the Asset List page.
   Click the link of an asset number to enter the page which displays the details of this asset.
2. In the Action menu, click Delete and then click OK.
