Configure Trunk Port
Operation Procedure
- Add a trunk port
- Click the Service tab, and then click VLAN Management >VLAN Devices in the navigation tree.
- Click
of a device.
- Click the
Trunk
Port
tab.
- Click Add. Select a port name, type the PVID and allowed VLAN
IDs, and then click OK.
- Switch the Dynamic State
- Click the Service tab, and select VLAN Management > VLAN Devices from the navigation tree.
- Click the
link in the VLAN Configuration column for a device to enter the VLAN configuration page.
- Click the Trunk
Port
tab.
- Click the
link in the Switch Dynamic State column for a port. A dialog box appears.
- Click OK to switch the dynamic state of the port between dynamic and static.
- Modify VLAN settings of a trunk
port
- Approach I: Enter the configuration page by clicking the Trunk Port tab.
- Click the Service tab, and then click VLAN Management >VLAN Devices in the navigation tree.
- Click
of a device.
- Click the
Trunk
Port
tab.
- Click the
icon of a trunk port in the list.
- Type the PVID and allowed VLANs, and then click OK.
- Approach II: Enter the configuration page by clicking the Modify Trunk Port link on the interface details page.
- Click the Resource tab.
- On the device list, click the VLAN Devices you want to manage.
- Click the Interface List link.
- Click the link in the Description column of a trunk port.
- Click Modify Trunk Port.
- Type the PVID and allowed VLANs, and then click OK.
- Delete trunk ports
- Click the Service tab, and then click VLAN Management >VLAN Devices in the navigation tree.
- Click
of a device.
- Click the
Trunk
Port
tab.
- Select one or more entries.
- Click Delete and confirm
the operation.
- Synchronize devices
- Click the Service tab, and then click VLAN Management >VLAN Devices in the navigation tree.
- Click
of a device.
- Click Synchronize.
Then click
Refresh to view the latest data.
Precautions
- The PVID ranges from 1 to
4094. You cannot modify the name of a trunk port.
