Cancel Management of Assets

Use this function to cancel the management of managed assets. After you cancel the management of an asset, the asset state changes from Online or Offline to Unmanaged.

Operation Procedure

• Approach 1:
1. Click the User tab, and then select Desktop Asset Manager > All Assets from the navigation tree.
2. Select one or more assets you want to cancel management of.
3. Click Unmanaged, and then click OK to confirm your operation.
• Approach 2:
1. Click the User tab, and then select Desktop Asset Manager > All Assets from the navigation tree.
2. Click an asset number link to enter the asset details page.
3. Click the Unmanaged link in the Action menu, and then click OK to confirm your operation.

Precautions

• You cannot cancel management of assets if the service parameter Auto Number is set to Enable.
