Printer Use
The printer use function is mainly used to use the operation of a printer and output a printer use list. The system provides two query functions for you to quickly locate monitor of interest: basic query and advanced query.
- Basic query: Basic query provides only asset name and asset number as query criteria.
- Advanced query: Advanced query provides more query criteria, including asset name, asset number, owner, file name, name of the computer initiating printing, asset number of the computer initiating printing, report time, share printer, printer name, printed pages, printed size, port, and driver information.
The printer use includes the following:
- Asset Number: Uniquely identifies an asset in the system.
- Asset Name: Name of computer that associates with the printer.
- Owner: Owner of the asset.
- Printer Name: Name of the printer.
- File Name: Name of the file to be printed. It must be exactly the same as that in the print task list.
- Printed Pages: Number of pages that are printed.
- Report Time: Server system time when the server receives the printer use reported by the client.
- Share Printer: A terminal can share its printer with other clients to use this printer. If the printer is used by another user other than the terminal that shares it, the value for this field is yes. In other cases, the value is no.
