Details
This function allows you to view the detailed printer use. On the printer use page, click the Details link of an entry to enter the page displaying the detailed information. The detailed information includes the following:
- Asset Number: Uniquely identifies an asset in the system.
- Asset Name: Name of computer that associates with the printer.
- Owner: Owner of the asset.
- Printer Name: Name of the printer.
- Share Printer: A terminal can share its printer with other clients to use this printer. If the printer is used by another user other than the terminal that shares it, the value for this field is Yes. In other cases, the value is No.
- File Name: Name of the file to be printed. It must be exactly the same as that in the print task list.
- Name of the Computer Initiating Printing: Name of the computer that uses the shared printer to print files.
- Asset Number of the Computer Initiating Printing: Asset number of the computer that uses the shard printer to print files.
- Owner of the Computer Initiating Printing: Owner of the computer that uses the initiates the shared printer to print files.
- Port: Printer port connected to the computer.
- Print Time: Client system time when the client submits the print task. This time may be different from the server system time because the system time of the client and server is not synchronized.
- Report Time: Server system time when the server receives the printer use reported by the client.
- File Total Pages: Total pages of the file.
- Printed Pages: Number of pages that are printed.
- File Total Size(Bytes): Total bytes of the bitmap file that the printer driver converts from the file to be printed.
- Printed Size(Bytes): Number of printed bitmap file bytes.
- Driver Info.: Driver information of the printer.
Precautions
- The data of file total pages, printed pages, file total size, and printed size are obtained from the operating system interface, therefore in some cases (for example, more than one copy of a file are printed, there is no paper for printing, or a paper jam occurs), the data may not be consistent with the actual data.
