- Add a view: Right-click in a blank area of the custom topology and select Add View from the shortcut menu. Specify the View Name, Upper-Level Topology, and Automatically Add New Devices parameters, and click OK. Topologies embedded in pages do not support this function.
- Add a cloud: On the topology toolbar, click the Add Cloud icon
. Or, right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Add Cloud from the shortcut menu. To enable opening the cloud in a non-embedded topology by double-clicking it, select the Double-click to open option in the Add Cloud dialog box.
- Add a note: On the topology toolbar, click the Add Note icon
. Or, right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Add Note from the shortcut menu. In the Add Note dialog box, specify the name, background and foreground colors, and font size for the note, and click OK.
- Add a device: On the topology toolbar, click the Add Device icon
. Or, right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Add Device from the shortcut menu. On the Add Device page, specify the parameters for the device and click OK.
- Add devices to the current view: Right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Add Device to This View from the shortcut menu. On the appearing window, select devices and click OK.
- Modify a view: Right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Modify View from the shortcut menu. In the Modify View dialog box, modify the parameters for the view, and click OK. Topologies embedded in pages do not support this function.
- Add a link: Use one of the following methods to add a link:
Method 1: On the topology toolbar, click the Add Link icon
. Or, right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Add Link from the shortcut menu.
Method 2: Press Ctrl and select two nodes in a topology. Click the Add Link icon
on the topology toolbar, or right-click the nodes and select Add Link from the shortcut menu.
Method 3: In the Link Management dialog box, click Add Link.
- Manage links: On the topology toolbar, click the Link Management icon
. Or, right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Link Management from the shortcut menu. In the Link Management dialog box, perform operations such as adding, deleting, querying, and resetting links, modifying link names, viewing link details, and restoring links to system links.
- Topology integrity analysis: Right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Topology Integrity Analysis from the shortcut menu.
- Enable/disable ping topology: Right-click in a blank area of a topology and select Enable Ping Topology or Disable Ping Topology from the shortcut menu.
