A topology shows the physical and logical connections among devices. In a topology view, the color of a link or node depends on the highest level of alarms. The status of the links and devices is refreshed in real time, providing information about the current condition of the network for easy maintenance and fault location. The topology view can be extended functionally to provide performance monitor, alarming and access services. The management information of each device is available by a simple click or right-click. In a topology view, each lower-level NMS is identified by a special icon that indicates its role. You can right-click a server and select Open Lower-Level NMS to access its lower-level NMSs.
