Stack Topology

A stack topology shows topology information about a stack, including the master/slave devices, and how they are connected to each other or to external devices. The stack topology helps administrators to plan and management the network better.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Resource tab on the top navigation bar.
2. Select View Management > Network Topology from the navigation tree.
3. Select a stack in the IP, Layer 2, or custom topology, right-click it, and select Open Stack Topology from the shortcut menu.

Functions

• Delete Stack Member: When a stack member is inaccessible or has been removed, the member device carries a icon. To delete the device from the stack, right-click the device icon and select Delete Stack Member from the shortcut menu.

Legends

• : Indicates the master device of the stack.
• : Indicates that that the member device is inaccessible or has been removed. Administrators can delete such devices from the stack.
