Location Views

You can create location views and add devices to the views. A location view includes devices and sub-location views. Each sub-location view includes devices and sub-location views. A location view is similar to the root directory and a sub-location view is similar to a subdirectory.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select View Management > Location Views to open the Location View page.
3. Set the location name for query.
4. Click Query to display matching location information in the location list.
5. To restore the location list, click Reset.

Remarks

• The status of a location view depends on the status of the devices in it (and in its sub-location views) that raise the highest level of alarm.
• If a view does not include any device, the status is Unmanaged.
• A location view, like a Windows folder, can include sub-location views of unlimited levels.
• Each location view can include multiple devices.
• If you do not specify any query criteria, the location list displays all location views that you have permissions to view.
